I also have 8 pairs of earphones/headphones but I’m buying more and more. I just love them. I think you can’t have too many. You will find excellent ones and buy them anyway.

Turns out there is a QKZ AK6 for $3 that performs slightly better than my Shure SE215 I bought in 2015 for $100! 🤯 The Ak6 is similar to the ARC up to 10 Khz, where the Ak6 only drops high frequencies from 10 khz.

back to that review. turns out this one is ridiculously good IEM. it is so balanced with more bass and only a peak around 8Khz which can be equalized easily. very little can be improved on this; headphones peaked and china did, and at this price.🤯 maybe the ultra-thin diaphragm technology in the driver/speaker made it possible.
I buy it today, which I shouldn’t do because I have enough headphones.

It has an amazing balanced sound. The highs are there but it’s not sharp. The bass is there but not overwhelming. The mids are pretty clear too. In other words, it sounds natural and it’s easy on your ears. The build quality is excellent. It comes with 4 pairs of ear tips and a small porch. Make sure you fit them right and you’ll get amazing sound and good noise isolation.

All new KZs have that metallic hollow sound (except CRN).

Anonymous, Jul 04, 2022It has a 3.5mm jack and not USB C. Ok, I guess I saw the photo and concluded that.

S

I bought it last month and it’s the best IE ever! the audio and sound quality is much better than my hd600 and focal. Buy it now, you won’t regret it!

J

You have reviewed the Type C earphone but it is not available on the headphone area, they sell 3.5mm jack earphones on the website.

I have discovered that my Shure is poor in high frequencies since I bought a Xiaomi triple driver years ago. now the CCA CRA also beats my Xiaomi in deep bass and around 10khz. Truly unbelievable

I prefer to have a wireless headset. or, i can use the detachable iems with bluetooth module if i have more money to buy them.

The detachable cable is extremely useful as you can easily turn them wireless using a Bluetooth module. And these would sound much better than those wireless headphones, even at a significantly higher price due to a higher quality setup to begin with. Better these + Bluetooth module than TWS gimmicky

I later bought KZ ZSN and was very disappointed with the hollow metal sound, currently using AKG K72, but wouldn’t mind lifting cheap IEMs with decent sound like the Piston 3 which I liked before their cable breaks

Yes

Is it too much effort to write that this headset has a 3.5mm jack? TRRS does not clearly state “3.5mm headphone jack with additional ring for in-line microphone”.
You should also make it clear that most modern phones do not have a 3.5mm jack and therefore are not compatible with these wired headphones. You would need to use a dongle to connect it to the phone, and you would lose the ability to charge the device when using that dongle (because, you know, the charging slot is busy).
