TL; DR: As of April 9, you can get a refurbished MacBook Air 13.3″ (2015), 4GB RAM 256GB for just $365.99. It would cost you $1,109 new, so you get 66% off discount on sticker price.
Buying a brand new laptop can definitely put a dent in your wallet, especially if you are a Mac user. But we’re going to let you in on a little secret: buying a refurbished device can save you hundreds of dollars. For example, a 2015 MacBook Air in great condition will cost you less than $400.
It’s certainly not the latest and greatest machine available. We are talking about a refurbished 13.3-inch MacBook Air from 2015. Five models have been released since the launch of this one. It’s not deprecated yet, so Apple’s hardware service is still available and third-party vendors can still order parts for repairs if needed. Plus, it’s been refurbished to perform like you just bought it off the shelf in 2015.
There are two different configurations of the refurbished MacBook Air up for grabs. One is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, while the other has more RAM, at 8 GB, but less storage space, at 128 GB. Both models are silver and come with a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD Graphics 6000, two USB 3.0 ports and an SD card slot. The LED-backlit 13.3-inch widescreen features a 1440 x 900 resolution and a built-in FaceTime HD camera, which won’t be fancy compared to the newer models, but should still do the job for quick video calls.
Looked:
The refurbished MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage is on sale for just $365.99, while the MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage is on sale for $388.99 $. Moreover, you will also make the environment a solid one by purchasing a pre-loved device.
