Apple has announced that it will increase App Store prices in Europe and also in some other countries around the world.
These new price increases will take place in Europe next month and will come into effect from October 5, 2022.
The price increases are due to changes in the price of the Euro against the USD and also to account for tax changes, you can see more information below.
Starting October 5, 2022, prices for apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) on the App Store will increase in Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, in Sweden, Vietnam and all territories that use the euro. In Vietnam, these increases also reflect new regulations allowing Apple to collect and remit applicable taxes, namely Value Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Tax (IRS) at rates of 5% respectively. .
Your product will be adjusted accordingly and will be calculated on the basis of the price excluding taxes. Schedule B of the Paid Apps Agreement will be updated to reflect that Apple collects and remits applicable taxes in Vietnam.
