Burglar strike at mobile showroom in Ludhiana


On Wednesday evening, burglars broke into a mobile showroom in Sarabha Nagar market and took away gadgets worth 40 lakh and 38,000 species.

The flight, which was captured on closed-circuit televisions (CCTV) at the scene, lasted around 45 minutes. The burglars entered the store around 2 a.m. and left around 2:45 a.m.

Store owner Rishu Pal said the thieves ran off with cellphones, watches, headphones and other expensive accessories. The thieves forced three locks and the shutter to enter the showroom.

The theft was discovered the next morning when the caretaker realized the shutter was broken. Division 5 Police Station Officer Neeraj Chaudhary said: “We are collecting details of stolen valuables after which an FIR will be registered. The thieves were caught stealing on CCTV cameras and efforts are underway to catch the accused.

Burglar bakery

In a separate incident, a gang of thieves broke into a bakery in the Kot Mangal Singh area on Tuesday night and scampered off with cash and two mobile phones.

The incident erupted when the owner of the bakery, who lives on the store’s first floor, came downstairs and was shocked to find the shutter broken.

The bakery owner said two people with smothered faces were captured by CCTV cameras in the area.

The thieves ran off with 7,000 cash and two cell phones. “There were no other incidents of theft reported in the area,” the investigating officer said.
