If you don’t plan to shop often at Sam’s Club — or even online since free shipping is a big perk — this might not be the deal for you.

If you buy a lot of bulk household items or are looking for cheaper gasoline, a Sam’s Club membership may be something you’re considering. So we’re highlighting this deal: Sam’s Club has partnered with StackSocial to offer their Sam’s Club Plus Membership – which is the warehouse club’s premium membership offer (see below for details) for $50 ( it is usually $100). This premium version of Sam’s Club membership is cheaper than Costco’s standard offering (its base membership is $60 per year), but it’s not the right option for everyone.

The advantages of a Sam’s Club Plus subscription: In general, savings at warehouse clubs can be worth it, especially for those who buy in bulk, refuel there, or make large individual purchases like electronics, tires or electronics, reveals a US News analysis. With a regular membership — which you can get now for $15 through StackSocial — you can access those plus discounts, add a household member for free, and shop online at SamsClub.com. With a Sam’s Club Plus membership you get all of that plus the added benefits of free delivery and curbside pickup, over 600 generics at the pharmacy for $4 and 20% off a pair of glasses and free shipping on contact lenses. You can also earn 2% cash back per year on qualifying purchases.

Is Sam’s Club Plus membership worth it? Our opinion ? Maybe not without the agreement. But given that you can get a few extra perks for shelling out around the same price as a standard subscription? We vote yes. That said, if you don’t plan on shopping at Sam’s Club often — or even online since free shipping is a big perk — this might not be the deal for you. “To recoup your $100 membership fee, you’ll need to spend at least $5,000 throughout the year,” Wirecutter explains. But again, you’re paying half of it, so that’s something to keep in mind.

SlickDeals also highlights this key benefit of a Sam’s Club Plus for early risers: “You can shop up to three hours before other shoppers. Plus members have access to the store from 7:00 a.m. Monday to Saturday. It’s a great option for early risers or those who like to shop before work,” the reviewer notes.

How this offer works: Once you order your Sam’s Club Plus subscription from StackSocial through this link, you will receive a redemption code via email that will allow you to access your Sam’s Club Plus subscription. There is sometimes a short delay in receiving the code as StackSocial verifies that the command is legitimate. If you have any issues or questions, you can immediately contact StackSocial customer support through this link.
