Today, DJ KERRY Katona’s daughter broke down in tears when she was presented with an iPad for her 8th birthday – after hers was stolen.
The gadget was hacked when mum Kerry, 41, had her £110,000 Range Rover stolen while shopping in Oldham before Christmas.
Along with the vehicle, Kerry revealed that at the time the trunk was full of Christmas gifts and children’s gadgets. – which included the DJ’s iPad.
She said after it happened: “I’m traumatised. My car was stolen right in front of me – it was horrible. I saw her drive off with £300 in gifts in the back.”
But today Kerry shared a heartwarming video of DJ receiving an iPad for his birthday, to replace the stolen one.
In the sweet clip, the little girl can be seen overwhelmed with emotion as she is handed a paper-wrapped box.
She then looks inside and can be seen delighted that it’s an iPad.
Sharing the sweet moment on Instagram, loving mum Kerry wrote, “Seriously the best reaction ever! ❤️❤️❤️ what a beautiful grateful baby girl!
“She was so upset she cried ❤️❤️❤️ happy birthday beautiful xxxx her IPAD was stolen when my car was stolen so we bought her a new one for her birthday ❤️❤️🤣”
Kerry had previously revealed all about the harrowing experience of having her car stolen while shopping.
Writing in his column for the new! in February, the mum-of-five said: “I tried to chase after the car but I had Heidi and DJ with me. They were crying, screaming, it was awful.
“Heidi is still traumatized and I’m so shaken up. I can’t believe how it all fell apart like this.”
Kerry believes she was targeted after police revealed she had been watched by the robbers. She added: “It really scared me.”
Just a week after her ordeal, Kerry was further upset when fiancé Ryan Mahoney’s Mercedes was stolen from the car at his £1.9million Cheshire mansion.
Revealing that she believed the two crimes were connected, Kerry told her Instagram followers, “So they stole Ryan’s car on our drive last night!!
“Mercedes C63S!! They went to my house. I’m in pieces!! Please if you know anything please call the police.
“Two cars in 11 days! I was watched and followed. I don’t feel safe! Absolutely sorry!
“While my babies were sleeping they came to my house!! If anyone knows anything, please help me!!!”
