HP introduced a new gaming laptop to the Indian market on Tuesday as part of its Omen series. The company introduced a new HP Omen 16 with improved features like fan design and thermals. It is capable of handling high-end gaming titles and supports refresh rate up to 165Hz. In addition to this, the HP gaming laptop includes a new generation 11th generation Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics.

The price of the HP Omen 16 in India starts at Rs 1,39,999. It can be purchased from HP global stores, HP online stores, and other leading large-format online and retail stores in the country.

Speaking of design first, the HP Omen 16 Gaming Laptop comes with a durable PC design made from ocean bonded plastics and recycled materials. It has a 16-inch QHD IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The screen offers 100% sRGB, flicker-free blue light and accurate colors with Eyesafe display certification by TÜVRheinlan to keep eyes fresh during extended gaming sessions. It also features the 4-zone RGB anti-ghosting keyboard with OMEN Gaming Hub Light Studio integration to achieve a look that suits any gaming setup theme.

In terms of hardware, gaming laptops equip up to Intel Core i7-11800H3 series processors with up to an 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. The device will be available with up to 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 × 4 SSD which has up to 2x the storage access speed of traditional SSD.

HP Omen 16 comes with a new and improved fan design that is 2.5 times thinner and has twice as many fan blades as the previous generation offering a 200% increase in blade count over the OMEN 15 There is OMEN Dynamic Power with the IR thermopile sensor capable of identifying CPU and GPU capacity in real time and dynamically allocating power between CPU and GPU, thus providing additional headroom and optimizing in-game FPS based on the current game landscape. Gaming laptop’s infrared thermopile sensor can absorb passive infrared energy from an element, infrared thermopile sensor can determine the temperature of that object without direct contact. According to HP, the IR thermopile sensor is used to enable thermal, performance and acoustics optimization based on the current user scenario, resulting in a better user experience.
