PRIMARK is known for its affordable clothing and homewares, but a thrifty influencer has shared a hack that could help during the cost of living crisis.
TikTok user Victoria Mckelvey showed off her money-saving hack that transformed her kitchen.
She bought £1.50 LED light strips and placed them under her cupboards as a cheaper alternative to recessed lights in the kitchen.
Not only does it look stylish, it also saves the hassle of having to turn on lights and consuming electricity.
As the cost of living continues to skyrocket, everyone is looking for budget alternatives that are also stylish and brighten up our home.
So with that in mind we decided to see if Primark in the CrownGate mall is selling the nifty little gadget and they do.

The city shop shelves are filled with LED light strips near the Christmas decorations on the first floor.
In her video, which received 134,700 views, she said: “I got these from Primark today for around £1.50.
“These are LED light strips and you just stick them on and they have a small battery and you can turn them on and off.
“But literally they make such a difference in my kitchen.”
In the video, the TikTok star turns off her lights to show how her kitchen was lit just by the LED strips and it’s fair to say that her kitchen is still pretty well lit.
She said, “Omg you have to get these.”
Not only that, but the comments were thrilled to hear about the hack and one said, “oh my god, I need this.”
A second commenter shared another hack and said, “Perfect for inside the wardrobe too.”
While a third viewer said, “Wow, I’ll be there first thing tomorrow morning, thank you.”
A fourth social media user said: ‘Oh I need this in my kitchen the lighting is so dim.
