Looking for more offers for the holidays? Visit our Cyberweek guide to see all the bestsellers to do before and during Black Friday.

Let’s say it up front: you’re not going to find a PS5 on sale this Black Friday – damn it, you’ll be lucky if you can even buy one. But that doesn’t mean you won’t find discounts on plenty of PS5 games and accessories, some of which will still work on your PS4 to keep you busy while you wait for the next big replenishment.

Speaking of which, some retailers are planning to put the PS5 back in stock for Black Friday, making this week a great time to keep a close eye on that ‘Add to Cart’ button. So whether you’re looking to grow your PS5 game collection or finally want to bring Sony’s scorching console home, here are the best PS5 Black Friday deals we’ve spotted so far.

The PS5 probably won’t be released on Black Friday, but we expect at least a few retailers to have stock on hand on big shopping day.

If you don’t mind going the physical route, GameStop will have a limited number of PS5s (as well as Xbox Series X and Switch packs) in stock in its physical stores starting today (November 25) from from 5 p.m. at 9 p.m. You can find a participating store near you here.

Walmart already had a restock on Monday that was exclusive to Walmart + members, although we don’t know if the retailer plans to open more stock on Black Friday proper.

We also recommend that you keep an eye out for other major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Target throughout the week for a chance to score a console. Below are handy links to each store’s PS5 page – be sure to bookmark them and set up your payment information up front for the best odds.

We really enjoyed the cinematic superhero action of Marvel’s Avengers, and while it has its flaws, the game is a no-brainer at this price point. Best of all, it’s constantly improving with free updates and expansions, including the arrival of Spider-Man exclusively for PlayStation gamers this fall. Note that the PS4 version is currently cheaper and can be upgraded to the PS5 version for free, so this is the one we recommend.

Just note that while this player can store both PS4 and PS5 titles, the latter will need to be transferred to your console’s storage in order for it to function. But having a way to offload all your PS4 games to a separate drive will free up your PS5’s storage for all the new stuff, which is perfect for people who like to download most of their games digitally.
