PUBG Mobile collaborates with the Olympic Council to host the Malaysia City Tournament

The popular online mobile game PUBG Mobile has announced that it will be collaboration with the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) for the PUBG Mobile Malaysia City Tournament. In addition, the collaboration is also intended to seek new talents for the game in our country.

In a statement released today, PUBG Mobile said the tournament will be held offline and registrations have already been ongoing since July 1, 2022. The City Tournament also serves as the qualifying stage for the PUBG Mobile National Championship Malaysia 2022 which offers cash prizes of up to RM100,000.

As for the City Tournament, it will be divided into two categories; Solo and Squad. The Solo category will take place entirely online while the Squad category will be divided into four zones, namely Central, North, South and Borneo.

The Solo category will start on July 9 while the Squad category on July 16, starting with the Central Zone. Additionally, the top 5 players in the Solo category will be combined into a single team to enter PMNC.

Meanwhile, for the Squad category, the top six teams from the Central and Borneo zones, as well as the top four teams from the South and East zones will qualify for the PMNC group stage. Interested? Visit the PUBG Mobile City Tournament official website here to learn more.
