Shoppers rush to buy the Argos air fryer that beats Ninja and costs £30 less

SHOPPERS are raving about an air fryer they say beats famed gadget maker Ninja — and it’s cheaper, too.

Argos sells a “far superior” air fryer for £30 less than the well-known brand.

Argos is selling the Instant Vortex ClearCook air fryer for £200, and fans are loving it.

In the reviews section of the website, one customer wrote, “Hands down the best air fryer.

“Far superior to the Ninja. I haven’t used my oven once since purchasing this item.”

Another exclaimed: “I bought it a few weeks ago. I can honestly say that we have used it every day since. Very easy to use and excellent results.”

And another said, “Really good because you can even put frozen food in it, and it cooks in minutes.

“Food comes out perfectly, not tough or overcooked, always moist inside. Sausages, pizzas and fish in minutes.”

The £200 Argos gadget compares to Ninja’s Foodi MAX dual-zone air fryer, which is on sale for £379 on the SantSolu website.

However, Argos also sells the same Ninja Foodi MAX air fryer on its website for £230 – so only £30 more expensive than the fan-favorite model.

The Argos Vortex fryer and Ninja Foodi max are similar versions – they are both dual fryers, meaning they both have two baskets instead of one.

Both models can have the baskets synchronized so that all the food finishes at the same time.

Argos also has the Ninja 7.6L Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer and Dehydrator on sale for £200.

Shoppers are raving about the latter too, writing, “I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Cheaper to run than an electric oven and some things cook faster.”

And another said: “Very happy with the product, I should have bought it much sooner.”

Remember that if you purchase any of these products, you will need to consider delivery costs in addition to the purchase price.

This may vary depending on how far you live or the amount of the purchase.

You can also search “Argos store locator” to find where your nearest branch is.

It always pays to shop around for the cheapest price so you know you’re getting the best deal.

The range sells a Kitchen Master air fryer for £59.99, for example.

It’s a bit different from the Argos and Ninja models because this one only has one basket.

We’ve also covered the Tower air fryer sold by the cheap retailer here – which costs just 13p to run.

It also costs £59.99 to buy.

How much does it cost to run an air fryer?

You can buy a new air fryer pretty cheaply if you know where to look, so the purchase shouldn’t break the bank – you’ll just want to know if it’s adding to your energy bill.

The answer won’t be the same for everyone, as what you pay for electricity will depend on your tariff and the size and efficiency of your appliance.

As with any device, a newer model is likely to be more efficient and cheaper to run than an older version.

But, on average, if you used a 900 watt air fryer for 20 minutes, it would cost you around 10 pence per meal.

So if you used it five days a week a year, it would cost you a total of £26.52.
