The Simmons Beautysleep folding bed is on sale at Walmart

If you have a lot of friends and/or relatives staying with you over the holidays, you may be worried about where they’ll all be sleeping. Well, we may have found the perfect solution. The Simmons Beautysleep Folding Guest Bed is compact, lightweight, and has a built-in memory foam mattress that buyers say is incredibly comfortable. Even better, Walmart has slashed its price to just $99 (from $159) just in time for the holiday season.

The twin-size folding bed features a plush three-inch memory foam mattress, a reinforced steel frame that can support up to 300 pounds, and a removable, machine-washable cover for easy cleaning . Perimeter spring suspension keeps the mattress securely in place, so it won’t sag while you sleep, and the bed itself is naturally antimicrobial and dust mite resistant.

Weighing only 30 pounds, it’s a snap to install. When it’s time to put it away, simply fold the frame up and use the storage strap to hold it in place. When stored, the bed is only seven inches wide, so you can easily store it in a closet or under a couch, table, cabinet, or another bed.

It arrives vacuum sealed, but while you can sleep on it the same night you unbox it, the brand recommends giving it a full 48 hours for the mattress to fully spring back to its intended shape. Although you may think a rollaway bed can be very uncomfortable, over 1,000 Walmart shoppers say it’s not.

Customers say this compact folding bed is the perfect size for apartment dwellers, dorm rooms, and anyone else who doesn’t have a lot of space but wants an extra bed close at hand. “We bought this bed for my boyfriend’s dad, over 60, who was coming to stay in our tiny apartment for a month,” said one five-star reviewer. “Assembly couldn’t have been easier. He says it’s very comfortable and sturdy. I like being able to offer my guests an alternative to the sofa or the inflatable mattress.
